Before you begin your background image must be the following dimensions


Width 840 pixels


Height 1188 pixels


Try to keep the file to around 120 KB or less to optimal PDF rendering speed.

With ZenContract you can build beautiful cover-pages for your documents. We suggest you get a designer to assist you if you are not sure about how to create an image.

If you need some ideas for creating your new cover page we suggest you have a look at iStockphoto’s range of predesigned cover-pages.


From the Template & Pages menu select Pages -> Create New Page




1. Give the document page a name

2. Ensure that the Page Type is a "Cover Page"

3. Select Proposal from the Page Category




From the Page Layout tab Select Page Properties



Select Back Image



Select Upload from the tool menu



Click the select button to find your document on your computer then click Upload



Click the insert button


Click Ok




Now click Save Changes to save the page and resize the background image 

(Don't worry if the image doesn't fit in the page properly it will fit correctly on the PDF document)





You can now add text and Prompts over the top of the document using the design view

You can use the  HTML editor to edit the document HTML directly to give you more control over the document look and feel. Here are some simple tags to get you started
